Precision Inspection, Inc., is one of the country's oldest independently-owned Dimensional Measurement Laboratories, having been founded in 1968.
Our primary objective has always been to provide accurate, reliable dimensional data to our clients. That area between conceptual design and production is our specialty, where no hard tooling or gauging yet exists, where everything is measured in an “open setup” atmosphere.
Sample sizes range from one piece, perhaps a built-up prototype, to several pieces from multi-cavity tooling. The client may be the end user, a prime contractor or the sub-contract vendor.
The segment of service utilized may be:
- Expertise and equipment needs a few times a year
- Extra capacity to ease an overload of the “in-house” department
- The independence required for resolving an impasse
- An engineering department inspection source for prototype and new product development
